The producing director (PD) of the upcoming variety show "The Sixth Sense," Jung Chul Min, talked about how he formulated the show's concept and chose its cast in an interview.

"The Sixth Sense" regular cast includes Yoo Jae Suk, Jun So Min, Jessi, Lovelyz's Mijoo, and Oh Na Ra. The five members will have one guest in every episode, and together, they will visit locations or figures with unusual backgrounds, to which by unleashing their "sixth sense," finds the fake among the real.

Jung Chul Min has previously worked with Yoo Jae Suk and Jun So Min as he directed SBS' "Running Man." He shared that he likes creating situations where the cast members can immerse themselves in every event. He continued sharing that he like it when the cast members and guests can enjoy themselves and have fun solving mysteries. That is why he set up a program in which there were different situations and spaces with psychological factors.

Jung Chul Min also shared that he spoke with Yoo Jae Suk on the phone, and it seems that most celebrities don't know a lot of trendy people or places because they can't visit places freely when they're not on TV. The show's keypoint is looking for extremely unusual restaurants or unique people.

Regarding the cast, Jung Chul Min said that he cast Yoo Jae Suk because he believes that he always thinks about him as the main MC no matter what program he plans. The director feels that he could get where he is right now because of Yoo Jae Suk's steady sport.

Furthermore, the PD shared that he likes casting good people who might be unknown to the but whom the public wants to discover more regarding the other female casting. He once saw Oh Na Ra in one of her dramas and thought she would be perfect for a variety shows. Jung Chul Min also expresses that she will be having good chemistry with the other cast because Jun So Min, Jessi, and Mijoo all have strong personalities, which could lead her the way on what to do as it is her first time to be a cast of variety shows.

Finally, about casting Lee Sang Yeob as their first guest, he explained that the actor is good at acting, good-looking, and has a lot of charm. Jung Chul Min added that he is very comfortable with that is why he decided to cast him.
