Bae Suzy And Nam Joo Hyuk To Star In Upcoming Netflix Series About Dreams And Innovations
The world’s leading streaming entertainment service, Netflix, has a brand new K-drama to look forward next month, and it stars none other than Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk!
Netflix has shared that their new series, “Start-Up,” will be about a story of young people who passionately pursue their dreams in a world full of startup companies, and it will premiere in October, wrote Hellokpop.
The drama boasts exemplary characters that will join Bae Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk, including Kim Seon Ho and Kang Han Na. It will be lead by the director of “Hotel del Luna,” “While You Were Sleeping,” and “Doctors,” director Oh Choong-hwan. And the drama is penned by the famous writer Park Hye Ryun behind the captivating stories of “Dream High,” “I Can Hear Your Voice,” “Pinocchio,” and “While You Were Sleeping.”
Bae Suzy will be taking the role of a woman named Dal Mi, who dreams of becoming Korea’s Steve Jobs. Though she has no background to boast, buts she is very passionate about her work. She is a person with great vitality and has bright energy.
Playing the founder of Samsan Tech Nam Do San is Nam Joo Hyuk. As a math genius at a very young age, he was once a pride of his family, but later on, he became their family’s disgrace as his business is going down for a couple of years already. Dal Mi mistakenly called him her first love, and Nam So Dam tries to turn the misunderstanding into a reality.
Moreover, Kim Seon Ho will be playing investment manager at a venture capital company named Han Ji Pyeong while taking the role of the second-generation chaebol CEO, Won In Jae is Kang Han Na.
According to Preview, the supporting cast to surround the leads of “Start-Up” include Stephanie Lee, Jasper Cho, Kim Do Wan, Son Sun Mi, Yoo Su Bin, and Kim Hae Sool.
