Lee Jang Woo Reveals Why He Joined The Cast Of Upcoming Drama ‘Oh! Samkwang Villa’
Lee Jang Woo shared about his upcoming drama, “Oh! Samkwang Villa” in a photo shoot and interview with The Star magazine!
The drama will follow a story of people who gather at a Samkwang Villa house run by a woman named Lee Soon Jung (played by Jeon In Hwa). It will unveil how people start as strangers and begin to open up their hearts and love one another. The show carries the message that no matter how tough the world gets, the priceless warmth of love still exists in human relationships.
Playing as Woo Jae Hee, an incredibly detailed architect is the versatile actor Lee Jang Hoo. Meanwhile, the professional interior decorator Lee Bit Chae Won will be played by Jin Ki Joo, who has a strong sense of responsibility.
The interview starts as the actor shared why he decided to take part in the drama. He explained that he joined the project because he kept thinking about it after hearing the synopsis. Lee Jang Woo shared that his motto is to portray comfortable characters, but at this moment, he will try to play a sharper character. “The drama gives off a relaxed vibe which viewers, regardless of age, will be enjoying watching it.”
Regarding the reason why he continues to star in a drama where all ages can watch, he shared that he always wants to pursue warm and friendly characters. He said that he wants to look cool on his roles, but Lee Jang Woo likes to depict characters who are more like a “boy next door.” “I know that these roles may not be as popular as the others, but I believe this suits me well.”
Moreover, the actor also shared about his YouTube channel. He said that he wants to share a straightforward content, and since social media is where people can express their individuality, he decided to tell all his thoughts.
The actor revealed that he is interested in film production and he wants to try it someday. “I want to make a good movie, like something that fits with our country’s sentiments.”
‘Oh! Samkwang Villa” will be airing on September 19 at 7:55 PM, KST.
