ITZY Smashes Personal Record With Their New Mini-Album
Girl Group ITZY broke its initial record and boasted a soaring rate of growth.
ITZY's 3rd mini album "Not Shy," released on the 17th, recorded 144,355 copies of the primary album (record sales for every week from the date of release) supported the album aggregation site together with Hanteo Chart.
The number that doubles the initial record of 64,659 copies of the previous work "IT'z ME," is that the group's highest performance. Meanwhile, Shinbo also ranked first within the Hanteo Chart album weekly chart from August 17 to August 23 and Gaon Chart's 34th week of 2020 retail album chart.
The title song "Not Shy" from the album of an equivalent name was released and swept through the real-time charts of domestic music sites, and won the highest of the Bugs Weekly Chart.
ITZY owned remarkable global popularity with outstanding achievements, both domestically and overseas. On the 18th, it ranked first within the Japanese LINE Music Daily Chart, iTunes Japan K-Pop Song category, and iTunes Japan K-Pop Album category. It also reached the highest of the Chinese music site QQ Music's Korean Chart.
Additionally, fans are loving the new music video that the views exceeded to 10 million on YouTube in about 17 hours. The new single has reached a replacement record, exceeding 29.03 million views at 11 am on the 25th, and is on the verge of getting 30 million views.
ITZY is re-proving a "stage craftsman" capabilities by starting music broadcasting activities starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 20th. Among all the active songs, the performance of "Not Shy," which boasts the very best level of difficulty, alongside excellent live performance, raised the satisfaction of K-pop fans.
"Not Shy" may be a song written by Park Jin Young, the top of JYP Entertainment, and sings a commitment to faithful love without hesitation, no matter the ending.
