On August 28, Hook Entertainment, the company of Lee Lee Seung Gi, released an update about the currently underway legal fight against the particular malicious commenter.
One of the convicted was allegedly levied with a hefty sum of 5 million Won (USD 4228.19) for making derogatory remarks against the Korean drama actor. Hook Entertainment said that they would continue to seek legal action to demand damages against the convicted (malicious commentators/haters). The label added that the prosecutor had put them on the hit list. It is for all the circumstances where the suspect has already been named because they are either out of reach or attempting to hide.
Meanwhile, there were some of the perpetrator's relatives who have been seeking a lesser punishment. However, Lee Seung Gi's company is strict in their decisions and would not take any deals to ensure that the right legal processes are followed in their proceedings.
The company is making preparations to file extra actions toward malicious commenters, based on the data that the United supporters mailed them along with their behavior and monitoring. The agency will eventually issue these suits.
Finally, Hook Entertainment promised to do all the legal measures required to bring criminal and civil proceedings to preserve and protect their artist. To build a healthier internet society, they will do their hardest to take strict legal action without leniency.
