Check Out These K-pop Groups With Equally Famous Members
It's not unusual for a managing label to promote one member as the head of their group, like most K-pop artists. The said participant typically gets more solo operation, more lines, or even more core and media exposure.
However, not all groups are like that. Here is a list of bands of which all participants are (approximately) equally famous. (via Kpopstarz)
SHINee
The very first band that most people just thought of is SHINee. After all, each participant has performed solo operations that have rendered them famous as individuals and as a group - SHINee.
Onew is well-loved for both his voice and music talents. While, Jonghyun is recognized for being the band's main singer, his exceptional musical ability, and as a writer and a composer with the highest standards.
Moreover, Key is renowned for its varied talents and acting abilities, and Minho got famous for his visuals, sense of humor, and success. Finally, Taemin is known for being a soloist and a member of SuperM.
They all achieved nearly equal prominence levels, with each representative strengthening their careers in the sector.
TXT
Becoming the first group of Big Hit Entertainment following BTS breakthrough in 2013, TXT as a whole has been gaining a lot of popularity rather than just one member. Huening Kai originally received the most popular as he was the first mixed-race star on the company.
Nevertheless, as soon as they debuted, and each participant had an opportunity to showcase their skills, they each acquired substantial fan bases. The TXT fan base (also recognized as MOA) evolved with it.
If people were to pick a most famous member, it would probably be Yeonjun as his fancams seem to have slightly higher views. The members get an average amount of identical audiences on their videos and live streams, indicating how comparable their influence is.
BLACKPINK
All four members of BLACKPINK have equivalent popularity, particularly in South Korea, where all girls are lauded for their skills and visuals. While Jennie may have an advantage because she started her career as a soloist, the other ladies are not stagnating, catching fashion shows, and endorsing various brands.
