Rookie Boy Group TOO Confirmed For July Comeback
The boy group TOO took it to their official Twitter group page to announce their first-ever comeback for their second mini-album.with a promotional photo. There is no specific date yet but according to the boys, they will return by July this year.
TOO, short for Ten Oriented Orchestra, is a 10-member boy group managed by n.CH Entertainment with the production and marketing by Stone Music Entertainment. They were formed through the survival show 'World Klass' and they officially debuted on April 1, 2020, with their first mini-album Reason for Being: Benevolence with ‘Magnolia’ as the title track.
Shortly after debut, the boys announced that the name of their fandom will be ‘Toogether’. The current members of the boy group are Jae Yun, Chi Hoon, Dong Geon, Chan, Ji Su, Min Su, J.You, Kyung Ho, Jerome, and Woong Gi.
Despite being rookies in the industry, TOO bravely joined the 2020 reality survival show ‘Road To Kingdom’ (sequel to Queendom) where the show puts seven male groups/teams head-to-head in a comeback battle, where each will release a new single on the same day at the same time and see which one reigns supreme on the charts.
In the show, TOO battled with senior groups like Golden Child, ONEUS, ONF, PENTAGON, THE BOYZ, and VERIVERY. Being the only rookies on the show did not stop TOO from delivering good quality performances, proving themselves worthy competitors in the show. The boy group Golden Child was the first to be eliminated in the competition.
The ‘Road to Kingdom’ is heading for its finale next week. However, before the finale, the production team decided to eliminate one more group and have 5 teams compete for the final round. This time around TOO got eliminated since they got the bottom spot.
Although it was quite sad that the boys did not get to compete until the final round, the fans are still optimistic about it claiming that getting eliminated in the show just means that the boys can focus more now on preparing for the comeback.
Still, congratulations to TOO for doing so well and best wishes to their upcoming album!
