Lee Tae Hwan Shares Character And Dating Style In 'Graceful Friends'
Lee Tae Hwan was recently featured in an interview and pictorial with GQ Korea, and is currently appearing in "Graceful Friends" of JTBC.
The actor shared his role in "Graceful Friends" as Joo Kang San saying that his character is an evil one that he never thought of encountering such a significant role again. He was quite nervous at first, but later on, he stopped agonizing and go with the character. In the drama, there are many scenes where he was angry and yelling. He confessed that it was tough when he can be good at holding back even when he is furious in real life.
When asked about being an actor, Lee Tae Hwan said that happiness and pain exist together. It means to act with different people and experience with a wide range of emotions. He always felt proud when people can relate to his character and dialogue and understand the message they want to relay.
Lee Tae Hwan gained the nickname "infant" while he was on the SBS variety program and explain that he was the same in real life. He was not confident enough when it comes to dating and get nervous when a relationship starts. Also, he was the type of person who would instead respect and understand other people than get jealous of them. He wanted to experience love at full speed before his 20s are over.
He preferred spending time on people he likes, shares positive influences, and not putting so much effort into building relationships with strangers. He would instead stop and let go of links when he does not fit into somebody. The actor said that there's nothing wrong with those strangers, they were just different from him, and he has no regrets ending those relationships.
Lee Tae Hwan disclosed about being approached several times on becoming a K-pop idol. He said that he had been followed after school by someone who asked him if he was interested in becoming an idol. And even his mom asked him about it. He honestly said that he can dance and that he was stiff.
When asked about Lee Tae Hwan's singing skills, he got the voice. He said that he used to be a fan of power vocalists like SG Wannabe, Buzz, and Monday Kiz. People used to call him Kim Jong Kook of Nowon District before he went through puberty.
