Red Velvet’s Seulgi Is Stylish In Photoshoot For Allure Korea + Talks About Solo Track ‘Uncover’
Red Velvet Seulgi is stylish and sassy in her poses for Allure Korea.
Seulgi opens up about her personality in the post-shoot interview with the magazine and talked about her promotion with Irene as Red Velvet's first subunit.
With their mini-album "Monster," Red Velvet—Seulgi and Irene introduced their first subunit to the spotlight and gathered massive attention throughout the world. And after the album's promotions, Seulgi took the photoshoot with the magazine.
When asked how she felt when she got back on stage for the first time in a while to promote "Monster," Seulgi expressed that she was nervous and worried that she might not be able to find the right camera. She revealed that though they have practiced for a long time, she still talked about the same thing with Irene, feeling nervous and worried whether they'd be able to nail a performance.
She said that Irene told her that she could do it and that after they make a comeback after, she'll do well in everything. Holding to Irene's words, she realized that she could do it. The singer noted that she has been restless because their comeback has been pushed back a lot. With a laugh, she said that they'd filmed variety shows before they fit the planned timing, which made people seemingly say, "Why are those two suddenly appearing on this show?"
Moreover, Seulgi shared that she asked many people about their thoughts right after "Monster" came out. She added that it was their first time doing a concept that they've never imagined, and that worried her, that's why she thought that she needed to hear the opinions of people around her.
Meanwhile, the idol was also able to share the details about her solo song "Uncover." She said that "Uncover" started with choreography from their concert, and when they asked her what kind of music she wants to put on, Seulgi responded that she wants something where she can share her own deep story. Seulgi shared that she wants to share her inner feelings through the song, which made her aim to create choreography as free as possible.
