BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ Is Head Towards A No. 1 Debut In The U.K.
BTS' new songs may be headed straight towards a chart-topping debut in one of the world's largest markets- the U.K. in which their latest offering just got out for less than three full days.
According to Forbes, The Official Charts Company is tasked with gathering together data on streaming and sales and are the ones who compile the U.K.'s weekly charts. They have predicted that "Dynamite" will not just become the group's highest tune but also a historic win.
For the moment, "Dynamite" appears having not much competition for the first spot in the nation, but nothing is inevitable because it is still early in the week for tracking. The band's new smash has already reached 1,000 sales ahead of what will likely be the runner-up track that is sizable lead in the country. The song is a success as it was played over 1.7 million times in the first two days and become a success on streaming platforms.
Today, BTS' most significant competitor was Joel Corry and MNEK's "Head & Heart," aiming for a sixth frame atop the singles list. It looks like the South Korean superstars will beat them to the highest, ending one among the first successful runs at No. 1 within the U.K. thus far this year.
It will mark BTS' first leader on the all-genre tally if ever it happens "Dynamite" to debut at No. 1 in the U.K. And following Psy's world-conquering "Gangnam Style," they will be the second ruler in a South Korean group or musicians.
Even if the new tune does not make it to the top spot, it should open inside the highest few rungs. Despite having tossed out some massive hits and landing more than no. 1 album, they still have yet to reach the U.K.'s top 10 with a song.
"Dynamite" will undoubtedly end to streak and may open instantly as high as the cut can climb.
