BTOB Lee Changsub Finishes His Mandatory Military Service After Vacation
BTOB's Lee Changsub, 29, is no over his mandatory military service as an active member of the army last August 21. To date, the South Korean singer is finally discharged from the military.
The 'Only One For Me' singer took a vacation from the service last year then was not allowed to go back to his post to avoid the COVID-19 spread. As per Kpopstarz, he enlisted in the military service in January of 2019, followed by his entrance to the Army Training Center. Since then, the idol served as a military band member for a support group by the Ministry of National Defense.
The singer's dispensed from the military came into tabloids at the end of July, as per Allkpop.
Among the all-boy cast, Lee Changsub is the sophomore member of the group to enlist in military duty, following his fellow member and bandleader Seo Eun Kwang, 29. Another group member, Lee Min Hyuk, 29, is slated to be out from the service this coming September. On the other hand, members Lim Hyun Sik, 28, and Yook Sungjae, 25, have enlisted in May's army service. Meanwhile, Jung Il Hoon, 25, is acting as a substitute for social service.
South Korean idol Lee Changsub join in with BTOB in 2012 and has led him to showcase his craft as a solo singer and theater actor at the same time. He was born in Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, but is originally from Gyeonggi-do. He gained his studies at Howon University in the course of Practical Music. Before becoming a K-pop idol, Lee Changsub was awarded a Daesang at the 2008 awards event of the Suwon Music Festival.
He is known for his album releases, especially with his first Korean album as a solo artist entitled 'Mark.' The said album is made and dedicated to his fans before enlisting in the mandatory military service.
