ABOUT KIM HYE YOON
Kim Hye-Yoon officially debuted as an actress with KBS2 TV Novel's Samsaengi in 2013 as a supporting character. Kim Hye-Yoon turned her concentration on research after securing a groundbreaking appearance in OCN's crime thriller Bad Guys in 2014 and only produced brief cameo for few projects.
In 2015, she received the full scholarship from Konkuk University, one of Korea's top universities. After completing college (graduation ceremony in February 2019), Kim started to audition for more substantial roles, such as the satire series SKY Castle by JTBC.
Alongside her distinctive character as an ambitious and uninviting yet ladylike high schooler, the show's considerable success propelled her to superstar status. It earned her the Best New Actress award at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.
In 2019, Kim Hye-Yoon starred as the main female lead in MBC's school fantasy Extraordinary You, centered on the popular Daum webtoon July Found by Chance. The young actress earned further appreciation, having won the MBC Drama Awards for both Best New Actress and Excellence Award as an actress.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-Yoon has taken on her first major role in the 2020 movie production, 'The Girl Riding a Bulldozer.'
