Son Ye Jin Hailed As Most Beautiful Woman In The World Of 2020
Starmometer, a global voting site, conducted the ‘Most Beautiful Woman of 2020’ survey that ran from April 4 to May 22, 2020. In a poll with over 13 million votes, actress Son Ye Jin garnered over 4 million votes from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, as well as an online poll, earning the sought after number one spot.
Starmometer then released a statement when the results were out, saying that Son Ye Jin “started to take off in as early as 2003 when she starred in the movie ‘The Classic’ which was also shown in Hong Kong and China. Her popularity continues to rise after starring in romance-themed movies and TV series such as ‘Summer Scent’ (2003), ‘A Moment to Remember’ (2004), and ‘April Snow’ (2005).”
Then they also added, “When it comes to awards, she was recognized for her versatility in diverse genres like in ‘Alone in Love’ (2006), ‘My Wife Got Married’(2008), ‘The Pirates’ (2014) and the 2016 films ‘The Truth Beneath’ and ‘The Last Princess.‘”
BLACKPINK’s Lisa came in second place, winning over 3 million votes in total, while TWICE’s Tzuyu came in third place with over 1 million votes.

The top 1 beauty, Son Ye Jin, is one of South Korea's most popular actresses today, thanks to the global success of the K-drama Crash Landing on You, where she played the role of a wealthy heiress who crash-lands into North Korea after a storm and eventually falls in love with a North Korean soldier.
She's also known for her roles in romance dramas like Endless Love: Summer Scent (2003), The Classic (2003), and Something in the Rain (2018).
