The Prosecution And Police Face Intense Confrontation In 'Forest Of Secrets 2'
"Forest of Secrets 2" has released teaser photos showing tense confrontations between the prosecution and the police!
The new episode will be unveiling the police and the prosecution taking their first move towards negotiation after thorough preparations. Viewers are now anticipating the intense debate between the two parties as they butt head over who will take the investigation's jurisdiction.
The previous episode revealed Woo Tae Ha (Choi Moo Sung) pinpointing the police to protect the prosecution's investigative rights. As he brought up a case where a policeman supposedly took his life due to depression, suspicions were raised as he opened up that a comrade could have murdered the policeman.
Woo Tae Ha then ordered Hwang Si Mok (played by Cho Seung Woo) and Seo Dong Jae (played by Lee Joon Hyuk) to investigate the issue. Woo Tae Ha pours his utmost effort into revealing the truth of the case that could completely dismantle the police officer's attempt to gain investigative rights.
Meanwhile, Choi Bit (Jeon Hye Jin), due to special treatment in consideration of her former position in prosecution, was declared innocent in just a day of all suspicions in the Tongyeong incident. She raised awareness using the media of the trial's evils and the need to revise the rights of investigation.
Proving that she was no pushover, Choi Bit made an advantageous situation for the police. In the coming episode, her biting words as she put her life on the meeting line are sure to become the main point.
Furthermore, the new teaser images released show the upcoming hot confrontations. Even with the members' commemorative photo where they stand side by side, their expressions signal that they are all ready and primed for a battle that is about to happen.
The end of the previous episode previews the tensions that are soon to rise between the prosecution and the police. Choi Bit argues in the preview and says, "Why are we having this meeting if we will just accept the government's proposal?" Hwang Si Mok notes pinpointing the debate, "With the request warrant's power, you will face pressure to prosecute or not prosecute certain cases."
Per the production team, to find what kinds of cards will be pulled, viewers should look forward to the first conference between the prosecution and the police to either attempt to protect or obtain investigative rights.
