Kim Ok Bin And Lee Joon Hyuk To Play As Main Leads In OCN's Upcoming Drama 'Dark Hole'
Kim Ok Bin and Joon Hyuk are in discussion to take the lead roles in the OCN's upcoming drama "Dark Hole" (WT).
It was reported on August 20 that Lee Joon Hyuk and Ki Ok Bin would be making an appearance in OCN's upcoming drama, the sci-fi thriller themed "Dark Hole."
In response to the reports, OCN claims that Kim Ok Bin and Lee Joon Hyuk are both positively reviewing their appearance in OCN's "Dark Hole."
Per Soompi, "Dark Hole" is written by Jung Yi Do, who also authored OCN's "Strangers from Hell." The drama follows the story of a monster that sucks up souls and is hiding in a sinkhole. The characters find themselves turning into equally cruel monsters while on the quest to find the creature. The journey will make them discover what makes a human and how precious courage and devotion are to human life.
Kim Ok Bin was said to play a homicide detective named Lee Hwa Sun, whose goals deprived her of protecting those close to her. There, she suffers from extreme remorse and helplessness that eventually pushed her to try taking her own life. She is bound to seek revenge as she witnesses a murder.
In talks to portray the former commando sergeant, Yoo Tae Han is Lee Joon Hyuk, who grew up carrying his family's burden. He enlisted himself right after he turned 20 and was dispatched to Somalia. The character is described as being dull and robust at the same time, who talks minimally and expresses his thoughts through how he looks at others with his expressive eyes.
The rest of the cast of "Dark Hole" who are bound to surround the leads has just been completed, and next month is slated to be the first filming of the drama. OCN's "Dark Hole" is planning to premiere on the half of 2021.
