'I-Land' Is Now The No. 1 Buzzworthy Non-Drama TV Show After BTS' Episode
‘I-LAND’ achieves a milestone!
For the first time of the show’s history, Mnet’s idol reality program ‘I-LAND’ dominated the coveted list of buzzworthy non-drama TV shows. As per Hellokpop, Good Data Corporation recently released the new ranking figures of non-dram TV shows and its respective cast members. The most significant number of viewing traffic started from August 10 and ends on August 16. The revealed rankings come from various factor levels, including the blog posts about the show, numerous news articles, online talks, videos, and social media trends and posts like on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
‘I-LAND’ emerged victorious against 168 non-drama TV shows that are still ongoing and are to premiere soon, above all those, Mnet’s ‘I-LAND’ sits on the first rank for that week. The show’s achievement follows BTS’s much-anticipated appearance in its 7th episode that premiered on August 14.
In a Soompi report, ‘I-LAND’ rises four spots higher than its last rank for the said weekly figures with a rating of 110.47 percent compared to their standing the previous week. Moreover, the ‘Home Alone’ (‘I Live Alone’) show of MBC also climbed its way to the second spot.

- MBC’s “Home Alone” – 5.49 percent
- TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” – 4.5 percent

- JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” – 2.91 percent
- MBC’s “Radio Star” – 2.91 percent
- TV Chosun’s “Ppong School” – 2.67 percent
- SBS’s “Running Man” – 2.48 percent
- tvN’s “Hometown Flex” – 2.19 percent
Alongside the show’s achievement, the South Korean septet also dominated the top 10 rankings for the buzzworthy cast members on non-drama TV shows. The phenomenal band graced the show by taking a tour of the ‘I-LAND’ home and giving pieces to the aspiring idols. BTS take the second spot next to ‘Radio Star’s’ Park Jin Young.
Meanwhile, as of this writing, BTS released their newest English song called 'Dynamite.'
