Ryu Jun Yeol Talks About Upcoming Movie ‘Alien’ In The Post-Shoot Interview With DAZED + Expressed Support For Plastic-Free Movement
Ryu Jun Yeol is oozing with confidence and classic masculine vibe as he poses for DAZED magazine. During the after-shoot interview, the actor talked about his upcoming movie and his campaign with Green Peace Korea.
Per Soompi, Ryu Jun Yeol is currently filming the movie “Alien” (Working Title), directed by Choi Dong Hoon. He shared that the film is unusual, unique, and fun. “I’m certain that the viewers will enjoy the film.” He continued that storyline of the movie somewhat familiar, but it has mysterious elements.
The “Alien” actor continues that there aren’t specific genres for films these days. He explained that in today’s setting in movies, the action, comedy, thrillers, and melodramas are mixed up together. The movie “Alien” is an exciting film that is not limited to one genre only where viewers can enjoy comfortably.
In the accompanying interview, Ryu Jun Yeol shared his love for travel, saying that traveling is a time when he asks himself what beauty is. And as he continued, he noted that there are so many layers to “beauty,” he is convinced that it is something the way he looks at life, the people he meets, and the stories he tells, as a result. “The people I encounter and the situations that I come closer while traveling are my sources of ‘beauty.’”
Furthermore, the actor expressed his thoughts being a supporter of Green Peace Korea and a part of its plastic-free movement. He also talked about the significant Korea supermarket Lotte Mart which is joining the movement and planning to reduce single-use plastic by 50 percent by 2025.
The actor shares that he is happy to hear that the company is joining the campaign. “If a large company with a lot of influence takes a stand, the consumers are bound to join as well. If the major marts will also join, there wouldn’t be anything better.”
Ryu Jun Yeol continued that he doesn’t believe that this campaign is an environmental campaign, the actor thinks that it’s more of a message that people should take time to think about the things that they’ve always been doing consciously, which will in itself be of great help.
