Shin Se Kyung Reaches One Million Youtube Subscribers + Talks About Her Role In Upcoming Drama ‘Run On’
Following her success as a Youtube content creator, actress Shin Se Kyung finally makes a comeback in the small screen with a role of a translator.
Shin Se Kyung has received multiple success in her career as the actress, including reaching a million subscribers on Youtube with her A-day-in-a-Life Stories content. In an interview with Elle Magazine, the actress shared reflections about her career and why she started a Youtube channel.
Shin Se Kyung stated that she feels the same way as before, thinking of the achievement as a precious and rare thing to happen to her life. The actress continued that she started the Youtube channel to show who she truly is to her fans and the world, and has achieved a way of communicating sincerely with people through Youtube.
Shin Se Kyung also stated that she wants to live a normal life and thinks that the characters she portrays in television are people she wanted to be like. The actress continued that she wants to live as a harmless person who doesn't harm others.
Shin Se Kyung started her Youtube channel in 2018 and has been successful over the years. The actress also donated her Youtube channel's profits to a charity organization called "Good Neighbors" to help girls in need.
Meanwhile, Shin Se Kyung is set to take part in a translator's role in the upcoming Kdrama "Run On," co-starring Im Si Wan and Girls Generation member Choi Sooyoung.
Shin Se Kyung will be playing the role of Oh Mi Ju, an inter-dimensional translator that builds bridges between different languages. Her curiosity about foreign language came to be because of the level of annoyance to bad subtitles displeases her.
"Run On" depicts a love tale that will spring among people living in different worlds as they communicate and connect as they "run on" towards love.
