On August 18, Dazed dropped I.M’s hot pictorial for the magazine’s September issue!

In an interview, I.M shared some things after his photoshoot, revealing he adjusted his focus and diet to look better for his fans and show his better side through photos. He added that if he did not take care of his body, fans would not be satisfied and himself as well.

I.M also talked about him being the one who leads the group in English interviews, despite being the youngest, he tries to answer the questions lightheartedly rather than having standardized answers when doing their foreign interviews. He is also trying to highlight his qualities while doing the given tasks.

I.M previously collaborated with an American artist ELHAE for a mixtape “Horizon.” I.M teamed up with American artist ELHAE for his new mixtape after I.M shared during a V Live broadcast in 2017 that he hoped to at least one day collaborate with ELHAE.

The artist also released the track “Scent” on SoundCloud as a part of the “Horizon” single. One fan asked him through the V Live channel what song he is listening to these days.

At that time, he mentioned ELHAE and his songs, to which the fans gave a positive response. Soon after, posts from fans, expressing their hopes that he should make a collab with him, have been overflowing.

I.M took a screenshot of the requests and sent it to ELHAE - and that was how the two met.

He also talked about the difference between MONSTA X’s I.M that gives a powerful rap performance and Im Changkyun, his real name, which is soft-spoken and one who chooses his words carefully. With the combination of the two, it is where he finds himself the most. So, between the two, no identity of him is above the other.
