The young talent, who previously almost made it to HYBE's &Team, is now facing allegations and claims that have brought his professional journey under scrutiny.

Junwon's journey with FANTASY BOYS began when he secured the first place in MBC's survival show of the same name. This victory was supposed to be his ticket to debut with the 12-member group. However, things took a sharp turn when PocketDol Studio, the agency set to manage FANTASY BOYS, announced the cancellation of Junwon's debut. The reason cited was Junwon's departure without the agency's permission.

Furthermore, the agency alleges that she had a strong say in the contract's details and even meddled in areas like the group's airport fashion, a domain typically handled by stylists and field staff.

One particular incident highlighted by the agency was Junwon's mother's dissatisfaction with his airport attire. She reportedly expressed discontent over Junwon wearing ill-fitting pants, carrying a non-luxury brand bag, and not standing at the center in group photos, despite his first-place win in the survival show.

In response to these allegations, Junwon's mother has denied the power-tripping accusations. She admitted to requesting a change in Junwon's pants at the airport due to fit issues but highlighted that another member was allowed a similar change the next day. She also expressed regret over another member, Sungmin, being positioned at the center during post-airport fashion photos or interviews in Japan, even though Junwon had secured the top spot in the competition.

The situation has now reached legal corridors. Junwon has appointed a legal representative and filed an application for a provisional disposition to suspend the validity of his exclusive contract with PocketDol Studio at the Seoul Western District Court.
