KISS OF LIFE: The Next Global Sensation Following BTS and BLACKPINK?
Korean group KISS OF LIFE continues their rise to global popularity.
The title track 'Shhh' from their first mini album 'KISS OF LIFE', which was released in July, started off by ranking 7th on the global 'Viral 50' chart on Spotify, the world's largest music platform. It then topped the charts in more than ten countries, including South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the US, Thailand, and Brazil.
The 'Viral 50' chart records songs that are most virally streamed in each country and region, making it an indicator that can verify listeners' preferences. The group's ranking on this chart suggests that KISS OF LIFE is indeed becoming popular worldwide.
Their global popularity can be attributed to their excellent live performances, prominent broadcast stages, and diverse social media content. Their team performances, as well as solo performances by members Natti and Bell, have shone a spotlight on their presence as "monster rookies." Challenges using highlight choreography also attracted significant attention from global fans.
KISS OF LIFE, which had already made its mark as a rising star in K-pop by amassing a monthly listenership of 1 million and achieving 10 million cumulative album streams on Spotify, has now entered the 'Viral 50' chart as well. Just one month after their debut, they are demonstrating infinite potential to grow into global stars, following in the footsteps of bands like BTS and BLACKPINK.
