Group BlackSwan has been reformed with an entirely international lineup.

On May 9th, their agency DR Music announced, "BlackSwan has been newly reorganized as a quartet consisting entirely of foreign members: Fatou (Belgium), Sriya (India), Gabi (Germany-Brazil), and NVee (USA)."

The agency added, "BlackSwan will make a comeback on the 19th with their second digital single 'That Karma.'"

This comeback comes a year and six months after the release of their October 2021 single 'Close to Me.'

The agency stated, "All members except for Patu were selected through our special audition program, 'Cygnus Project.' They form the only K-pop girl group consisting solely of non-Korean members in the K-pop scene."

According to the agency, Indian member Sriya Lenka, born in 2003, will serve as the lead vocalist and lead dancer. Sriya is the first Indian to debut in a K-pop girl group and has already attracted attention for her collaborations with well-known local brands in India. Gabi (Gabriela Strassburger Dalcin), born in 2002, is of German and Brazilian descent and will take on sub-vocal and dance roles.

NVee (Florence Alena Smith), born in 1999 and of American nationality, will be the main vocalist. Earlier this year, she showcased her remarkable vocal abilities during BlackSwan's performance at the 2023 India Hockey World Cup celebration.

Leader and rapper Patu, born in 1995, is of Belgian nationality. She has been active as a BlackSwan member since the year before last through individual auditions and released her first solo hip-hop album last August. Patu is known for her tall, slender figure and striking features.

Regarding BlackSwan's new song, the agency explained, "It's a track with BlackSwan's signature intense sound and dynamic dance. We plan to reveal the impressive lineup of staff involved at a later date."
