Shocking 5th Place in Dance Position - 'Fantasy Boys' Shiryu's Talent Questioned by Producers
Shiryu from "Fantasy Boys" faced a shocking 5th place in the dance position.
On the May 4th broadcast of MBC's variety show "Fantasy Boys - After School Romance Season 2" (hereinafter "Fantasy Boys"), the 3rd semester major field mission competition took place.
During the episode, Kim Beom-jun from the 'REALLY REALLY' team felt the pressure of being ranked 33rd in the 2nd semester, and actively participated in the part distribution process. The members also gave consideration to Kim Bum-jun's lower ranking, but he kept requesting more parts, causing difficulties for the team.
After receiving high praise during their mid-term evaluation, the 'REALLY REALLY' team was advised to strategically save the team by utilizing higher-ranked members. Following the mid-term evaluation, the members proceeded to redistribute parts. Oh Hyun-tae was recommended for the first chorus part, but Kim Beom-jun opposed it by promoting himself.
As the team's atmosphere didn't improve during discussions, Lee Han-bin coldly finalized the part distribution. However, conflicts escalated over handheld and headset microphones.
The 'Shoot Out' team, consisting of boys facing elimination, prepared for their performance in a demoralized state. After watching their mid-term performance, Jinyoung coldly commented, "If this were a competition, it would have been a disaster." After the mid-term evaluation, leader Geum Jin-ho worked hard to boost the team's morale.
Kang Seung-yoon, who watched the performance, praised it as "personally chilling." He emphasized that there wasn't a single boy on the stage with a disappointing story to tell.
The 'I Need U' team had a smooth part distribution and prepared their performance, but faced a crisis after receiving harsh evaluations during vocal lessons. They lowered the key of the song, putting them at a disadvantage compared to other teams. Ultimately, they moved Shiryu to the center and built a Shiryu-focused performance. After the performance, Jinyoung expressed disappointment, saying they failed to capture the flavor of the song.
Shiryu's surprising 5th place in the dance position left producers and Fantasy Makers baffled. Shiryu stated, "After receiving this 5th place result, I started to think that my dance skills were at this level. I want to thank the fans who supported me."
Kang Seung-yoon expressed his regret, saying, "It's a shame that his skills were denied." Soyeon added, "Shiryu was held back." Kang Seung-yoon and Jinyoung chimed in, saying, "Those fans didn't vote."
The 'MIROH' team had difficulty communicating and used a translator to interact. Soyeon, who watched the 'MIROH' team's performance, harshly criticized it, saying, "There's nothing to say because it was such a mess" and "If you don't work hard as if you're running, I hope you reconsider being a singer."
The 'Monster' team smoothly progressed and maintained a harmonious atmosphere. Jinyoung praised them during the mid-term evaluation, saying, "This team definitely has a competitive edge."
Although Hwang Jae-min faced a crisis before the competition, losing his voice, he completed a powerful performance. Woo-young highly praised it, saying, "In my opinion, with these members, they can just receive a good song and debut right now."
Lee Han-bin from the 'REALLY REALLY' team ranked 1st in the vocal position, Park Hyung-geun from the 'MIROH' team ranked 1st in the rap position, and Hong Sung-min from the 'REALLY REALLY' team took 1st place in the dance position.
The 3rd semester rankings were revealed, surprising the boys. Kim Dae-hee ranked 31st, K-dan ranked 30th, Santa ranked 29th, and San-ta ranked 28th.
Meanwhile, MBC's variety show "Boy Fantasy - After School Romance Season 2" is a new concept boy group audition program that will fill your fantasies with heart-fluttering excitement this spring.
