The wave of touching stories about singer Lim Young-woong continues as a recent anecdote from his military service has once again won the hearts of the public.

A post titled "Sharing on behalf of the Army Training Center" recently caught attention on an online community. The author of the post introduced themselves as Lim Young-woong's junior from the military and shared an unforgettable story about Im's kindness during their service together.

The author wrote, "I first met Lim Young-woong in the summer of 2012 at the 3rd Infantry Division's 'Baekgol' Unit's General Outpost (GOP) as a junior-senior relationship. I was anxious about joining the military at a later age, but he approached me with ease." They continued, "Lim Young-woong always took great care of his fellow soldiers, significantly helping to build solid teamwork. One day, when a high-ranking officer suddenly visited the unit, he gave a neat briefing and even received an award."

But that's not all. The author added, "As the youngest in the outpost, he came to me with snacks and shared tips on how to excel in military life, creating personal time just for me. Lim Young-woong was a warm senior and friend who listened attentively to others and empathized as if it were his own matter." They didn't hold back in praising him.

They also shared their love for soccer. The author said, "Through our common interest in soccer, we bonded tightly and had an enjoyable and precious six months of military service together, which still holds a special place in my heart." They opened up about Lim Young-woong's genuine support as a senior.

Lim Young-woong has previously been recognized as a 'human anecdote' singer, loved by the public for his various good deeds and touching stories. Recently, he expressed his desire to perform the opening kick for a K League match, supporting the league's growth. Although FC Seoul offered him an appearance fee, Im, as a true soccer fan, not only declined the fee but also paid for all event expenses.

This isn't his first military service story either. Last month, Lim Young-woong's gesture of sending high-quality soccer shoes and autographs to encourage his fellow 'Baekgol' Unit comrades and a soccer team for people with brain disabilities in Busan was revealed, drawing attention. In June last year, he also supported the 'Baekgol' Unit, where he served, by donating welfare supplies worth approximately 6 million won.
