Journalists Kim Ji Hyun decided to interview a prominent female celebrity manager for the sponsors and learned a surprising narrative about a well-known female artist.

The manager has confirmed that funding brokers in the entertainment industry have approached the managers first with a dubious commercial proposal. The manager received a phone call from an unknown number. The caller offered a promotional deal for his celebrity but wouldn't reveal what exact details of the promotion and what it is for.

Kim Ji Hyun shared that the manager, who is part of the actress's managing label, received a phone call from an unknown number and offered him a commercial deal upfront.

The stranger asked the manager what kind of product she would be promoting, but they didn't disclose any information and answer. The negotiator then said that the label's CEO and the actress would arrange a product private meeting to talk about the promotional offer, and the actress will be paid for her entire time spent from the meeting.

They only needed him to meet with the actress alone. The manager eventually rejected the proposal. He later collected information of the person on the phone and learned that the broker was skilled in linking sponsors to famous personalities for prostitution. (via Koreaboo)

Journalist Choi Jung Ah stated that there are sponsorship reports where famous people personally approach to wealthy sponsors. He remembered how a dealer once referred to a wealthy man to a famous actress, but the client refused to see her.

"It's a different story. There are details. We sometimes speak about brokers finding famous individuals, but sometimes the deal takes place the opposite way. A dealer tried to introduce a multi-millionaire once to a female artist. However, the man refused to see her and said, "she's not my type because she's too strong."

Choi, the journalist, disclosed that the celebrity used to be a widely recognized artist who has been on an extended break fro the spotlight. She has recently begun to run tight on funds and reportedly looked for the sponsor, offering herself and gave them a significant discount.

The sponsor she approached is known to be a dentist from a very renowned dentistry community. The story says that she went to his clinic to get treatment personally and asked to meet her. She successfully made a deal with the man for 20 million. The dentist continued to decline her offer until the end, but the encounter lifted his ego and shared the tale everywhere too.
