On December 25, Friday, Lee Ga Eun participated in a pictorial shoot with Esquire Korea and shared some of the details on her acting and YouTube career in the following interview. When asked about some updates on her YouTube career, Lee Ga Eun explained she built the channel to update and communicate with her fans and even felt down with herself after experiencing anxiety.
Eventually, Lee Ga Eun shared she came to realize how she can share lots of things on her YouTube account and worked diligently on it which resulted in a much confident personality. Describing it 'hard' at first as she was shy and timid in real life, Lee Ga Eun started to step out of her zone by doing things she had never done before such as being outgoing and friendly.
After a long time of posting videos on her channel, Lee Ga Eun finally realized her purpose of doing this and that is to genuinely express how she can get confident enough to express her gratitude and love for fans who have been supporting her since her debut. Thanks to modern technology, Lee Ga Eun was able to communicate with her fans through platforms of Instagram and YouTube.
Moreover, the 'Produce 48' issue was also brought to light in the Esquire Korea interview which Lee Ga Eun is ready to discuss. She was asked about how she felt when her name was brought on the news along with candidates who were unfairly eliminated due to the vote-rigging issue of the show.
Lee Ga Eun replied, "It's hard to say. I didn't go through a change of heart when I heard the news. But I wasn't sure what kind of effect I would have if I spoke out." Afraid of speaking out her side of the story, Lee Ga Eun decided to shut herself so she could avoid misunderstanding from the public.
