Aespa Ningning Flaunts Her Impressive Vocal Skills In 'Black Mamba' Teaser
SM Entertainment recently released Aespa member Ningning’s individual member video teaser!
Aespa member Ningning showcased her impressive vocal skills and left Korean netizens amazed by her voice. In the video, she is initially in an indoor art studio and painted a hip mural, a graffiti on the walls which appeared to be showcasing her artistic side.
Ningning will soon appear going to her tablet and switching to a song titled ‘RUN,’ which will be included in Aespa’s debut album and speculated to be her solo song. She sang on a stage with wine-colored velvet curtains behind her in a vintage-themed lounge. She showed off her vocal skills as she sings into a microphone and to the camera. She can hit high notes with no efforts, solidifying as Aespa’s main vocalist.
Korean netizens were impressed with her amazing vocals, which made others compare her voice to a Disney princess. The netizen also loves the ways she appeared confidently in her voice and praised her charming good looks.
However, when SM Entertainment first announced Aespa’s debut, Korean netizens were against Ningning joining the group’s line-up because of being Chinese. Many people claimed that the Chinese were distorting the Korean war history and that the Chinese idols are not allowed to come to South Korea to make money and debut due to this.
A national petition filed to prevent Chinese idols from actively promoting in South Korea. Korean netizens mocked SM Entertainment for pushing through the debut with Chines idols. They also demanded Ningning not to debut as the group’s main vocalist despite the long training and vocal abilities. Korean netizens believed that a Korean should be the main vocalist, and Ningning should leave the group and promote as an idol in China instead.
However, Ningning is now praised and left a fantastic impression on the Korean netizens with her voice and looks.
Aespa set to debut their single ‘Black Mamba’ on November 17, 2020.
