‘I-LAND’ Boy Band ENHYPEN Confirms Debut This Coming November
On October 19, reports stated that ENHYPEN would be making a November debut after the “I-LAND” show. As per recent reports, ENHYPEN is gearing up for a November debut, with BELIFT LAB confirming the news.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN thanked BTS, SEVENTEEN, and TXT on the group’s October 2 V Live broadcast. Group member Jungwon stated that the K-pop groups personally came to cheer them on and gave them advice for the future.
Member Jay agreed and also stated that their support was a significant source of strength for the group, and they all rooted for them at the end. Jake added that the K-pop idols helped them in a difficult time that it gave them strength for the upcoming battle at that time of the competition.
Besides that, ENHYPEN revealed their fan club name, which is ENGENE, with the name taking two meanings. The first is that the group’s fans are the “engines” that motivate the group to move forward, and the second is ENHYPEN’s fans share the same DNA to connect, develop, and grow together.
ENHYPEN is a new boy group from Mnet’s survival show “I-LAND” and is signed under BELIFT LAB, a joint venture of CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment; Home of K-pop superstars BTS and TXT.
ENHYPEN had a bad start on their career after the Gimpo Airport stunt that made the group retreat from the number of fans present upon their arrival from Jeju Island. However, the K-pop idols have persevered through the rough patch and made a name for themselves.
In the last couple of days, ENHYPEN’s social media account racked up over 854,700 followers and is now second to BTS in the number of followers in the Weverse Application.
ENHYPEN’s members compose of Park Jong Sung, Park Sung Hoon, Ni-Ki, Lee Hee Sung, Kim Sun Woo, and Sim Jae Yoon. The members are between the ages of 14 and 18 and are of different descent.
