The singer turned actor, Kim Hyun Joong, saves a chef's life after giving first aid to the person who fell unconsciously inside a restaurant he was currently at.

On August 31, a media outlet reported that during his visit last week to a restaurant, Kim Hyun Joon found a chef who collapsed and was unconscious in a restaurant somewhere in Seogwipo, Jeju-Do. The actor took action right away and performed first aid before the 119 paramedics came.

Based on the CCTV video released along with the news, Kim Hyun Joong checked the chef's body, who lost consciousness and collapsed. He then raised his head and immediately secured the airway and unbuttoned the shirt of the chef. He also told the staff around him to call 119. He helped the chef regain his consciousness by rubbing and massaging the chef's chest and stomach, where he felt it was stiff and talking to him restlessly.

By the time that the chef regained his breath and consciousness, the paramedics and ambulance arrived at the restaurant, and Kim Hyun Joong said it was the 119 rescuers helped him move the chef. Hyun Joong, who helped the chef and led the first aid, shared what was like to be in that situation.
