'More Than Friends' And Other Ongoing Productions On Pause Due To Covid-19 Pandemic
On August 19, news from different media outlets reported that "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" halted filming after the supporting actor Seo Sung Jong tested positive for Coronavirus.
Aside from that, the production of the upcoming drama "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" was also paused for the preventive measure since some of the staff members worked on both shows. Later, they found out that Heo Dong Won, a cast of "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" that was in a play with Seo Sung Jung, also tested positive for Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Seo Yi Sook is also waiting for her test results for Coronavirus since she contacted actor Heo Dong Won. Due to the possibility of her contracting the virus, the drama she is filming with Suzy and Nam Joo Hyun was also set on pause.
Both actors Seo Sung Jong and Heo Dong-Won, who also played on "Jjamppong," announced that fifteen of their cast and crews have also tested positive for Coronavirus, including Kim Won Hae.
On August 20, JTBC confirmed that the upcoming drama "Private Life" has stopped filming while waiting for the test result of their staff members. The show stars Girls Generations' Seohyun, Go Kyung Pyo, and more.
One of the cast and staff members was a supporting member of another drama in which someone tested positive for Coronavirus. No direct contact was made with the person, but as a precaution, they got tested, and filming has also halted until results will come out.
It was also reported that "More Than Friends" starring Ong Seung Won and Shin Ye Eun stopped filming because actress Kim Hee Jung who made close contact with Kim Won Hae, got tested on August 20 for Coronavirus.
For the cast and staff's safety, all filming will be paused until the final results are out.
