Lim Nayoung radiates chic and high-fashion vibe in the recent photoshoot with Haper’s Bazaar. The “Flower of Evil” star shared her thoughts on making a debut as an actress in the accompanying interview with the magazine.

 

The former IOI and PRISTIN member, Lim Nayoung, recently branched out into acting for the first time after rising as a singer. Along with her debut as an actress in Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won’s new drama “Flower of Evil,” she is also currently filming the upcoming web drama “Romantic Hacker” (LT) as the female lead with Kwon Hyun Bin.

 

Lim Nayoung expressed how she first became interested in acting, sharing that when she was in college, she majored in TV and entertainment, where she learned about the camera, writing screenplays, and editing videos. 

 

The actress added that as she journey with her studies, she pulled some inspiration from the many people who dreamed of becoming an actor, just like how she first dreamed of becoming a singer. With that, she realized that having more experience to develop her acting interest.

 

The actress also shared that she enjoyed new things and tried to take up roles that challenged her acting capabilities. She said that she recently had to act like she’s drunk, which turned out to look funny. She explained that she felt like she could loosen and release all the repressed things within her.

 

Furthermore, the idol-turned actress, who was then known for her unchanging and stoic facial expressions, is also undergoing a welcome transformation in that regard.

 

Lim Nayoung shared that she felt like she has been broadening her array of facial expressions. Recently, her friends told her, “Whoa, what’s these facial expressions? This is new for you!”

 

The idol now actress Lim Nayoung concluded her interview by saying that she is going through positive changes due to her acting.
