WJSN’s Bona And Kim Sun-Young Confirmed To Star In A KBS Drama
The cast of KBS 2TV's "Oh! Samkwang Villa" (LT) is finally revealed!
Stars named for the project include Kim Sun Young, Jin Kyun, In Gyo Jin, WJSN's Bona, Ryeo Woon, Han Bo Reum, Kim Shi Eun, and Jeon Sung Woo.
"Oh! Samkwang Villa" will tell the story of various people who gather at a house called Samkwang Villa run by Lee soon Jung (Jeon In Hwa). The drama will follow the characters who started as strangers but begin to open up their hearts and love one another.
The drama is bound to convey that the warm seed of love still exists in human relationships, even how tough the world gets.
The eldest of the villa is Lee Soon Jung, who has three children, namely Lee Bit Chae Won, the eldest daughter, to be played by Jin Ki Joo, and WJSN's Bona to portray Lee Hae Deun.
Bona has been in talks since April that she will be portraying the role. Her character, Lee Hae Deun, is neat, elegant, and arrogant as she faces other people, but when she is at their home, she is clumsy and lazy. Despite having split-personalities due to how she treats the world and their home, no one can still dislike her because she delights everyone with irresistible aegyo (acting cute).
The last child of Lee Soon Jung is Lee Ra Hoon (to be played by Rye Woon). Working at his delivery job, Lee Ra Hoon keeps a big secret to his family: he's not attending college like his family thought he's doing.
Playing Lee Soon Jung's younger sister, Lee Man Jung, is Kim Sun Young, who is with her in the villa. She finished her studies in medicine and eventually became a doctor because of her older sister's help. She might be a doctor in the profession, but she's clueless when it comes to love and fall easily for any man.
Meanwhile, playing the role of a trot singer Kim Hwak Se is In Gyo Jin, whom Lee Soon Jung's children call "uncle." Kim Hwak Se works as a vocal trainer, spends time as DJ at a club, and plays guitar for the band.
In the drama, some candidates are the next tenant of the Samkwang Villa, including the mysterious Hwang Na Ro (played by Jeon Sung Woo), who good at lying. Next is Cha Ba Reun, a real student at the college that Lee Ra Hoon is pretending to attend, to be played by Kim Shi Eun.
Speaking of the other households, playing the role of Woo Jung Hoo, the president of the large corporation and his family's head, is Jung Bo Suk. While Woo Jae Hee, the son of the father, is Lee Jang Woo. His mother, Jung Min Jae, is played by Jin Kyung.
Moreover, playing the CEO of a fashion company named Jung Won is Hwang Shin Hye. And her smart daughter Jang Seo Ah will be taken part by Han Bo Reum.
'Oh! Samkwang Villa's" production team shared that with Samkwang Villa as the background, they will plan to tell the uproarious story of the characters as they make connections.
"We will share diverse contents in the future, and we are planning to reveal moments that preview romance and conflict. Please watch out on the progress of the show."
"Oh! Samkwang Villa" is scheduled to premiere in September.
