NewJeans has clinched the top spot on "Inkigayo" with their track "Super Shy".

On the SBS show "Inkigayo" broadcast on July 23, Korean Time, NewJeans came out as the winner among the top candidates that included BTS's Jungkook and Park Jae-jung.

NewJeans expressed, "Thank you to our fans who have been with us and loved us unconditionally for a year. We had our first anniversary yesterday, making this award feel even more special. We will continue to show you better sides of us."

A variety of special performances from various artists were featured on the broadcast that day. Park Ji-hoo, who joined as a new MC, and Boy Next Door's Woon-hak prepared a special performance of NewJeans' "Hype Boy", showcasing their youthful and refreshing charm.

NCT DREAM, who returned with their third regular album "ISTJ", drew attention with their intense and energetic choreography for the title track "ISTJ".

NCT DREAM's title track "ISTJ" is a hybrid hip-hop dance track. The lyrics break the stereotypical framework of MBTI and tell a confident story of an ENFP who has their unique way of interpreting the ISTJ type, adding more fun for the listeners.

NewJeans, who recently released their second mini-album "Get Up", staged two tracks "Cool With You" and "ETA" from their triple title songs, emitting contrasting charms.

"Cool With You" is a song based on UK garage rhythm, allowing listeners to appreciate the members' attractive vocals. "ETA", an acronym for Estimated Time of Arrival, is an exciting song that combines breakbeats with Favela Funk. Its friendly lyrics, which feel like a conversation with a friend, and the members' unique emotional melody rap are impressive.

Meanwhile, the 'Inkigayo' that day was graced by various stages from NewJeans, Lunathe, Future Boy, Sandara Park, I-Chelin, 8Tone, NMIXX, NCT DREAM, ODD EYE CIRCLE, Yoon Soo-hyun, ZEROBASEONE, Queenz Eye, and Hwang Min-woo.
