Ji Soo Resembles Sadness As Im Soo Hyang Offers A Handpicked Bouquet
Ji soo and Im Soo Hyang are mixed emotions in the newly released stills of MBC's upcoming drama, 'When I Was The Most Beautiful.'
Per Soompi, the heartbreaking love story of 'When I Was The Prettiest' follows the story of two siblings who fell for one woman and became the subject of their affection. Im Soo Hyang plays the role of a ceramic artist named Oh Ye Ji, who becomes the apple of the eyes of brothers Seo Hwan (Ji soo) and Seo Jin (Ha Seok Jin).
Surrounding the leads are Hwang Seung Un, Park Ji Young, Kim Mi Kyung, Choi Jong Hwan, Jung Eun Pyo, Lee Jae Yong, and Shin Ye. The series is directed by Oh Kyung Hoon and penned by Jo Hyoun Kyoung.
In the new sneak peek released, Oh Ye Ji gave Seo Hwan a bouquet she handpicked herself. The images also resemble different emotions. Oh Ye Ji delivers a soft smile as if she's conveying her gratitude. At the same time, Seo Hwan, with a fond and yearning gaze, looked back.
Seo Hwan, who was struck by love at first sight to Oh Ye Ji, secretly hid his feelings. In the stills, Seo Hwan also reflects sadness on his face, making the viewers raise questions regarding the score between the two.
The production team of 'When I Was The Prettiest' expressed that the new stills show Im Soo Hyang and Ji Soo, portraying the affectionate and youthful mood well. Both led the refreshing atmosphere on the set as they remain the smiles on their faces despite the frequent rain showers and early morning filming.
The team also praised the actors' dedication in delving into the exact emotions and asked the viewers to tune in to the drama to see their chemistry.
'When I Was the Prettiest' would give viewers a roller-coaster ride as it premieres on August 19 at 9:30 PM, KST.
