The online community is abuzz following a stirring performance by BLACKPINK's Jennie at BST Hyde Park in London. A clip showing the K-pop star becoming tearful while performing "Tally" has elicited a wave of emotional reactions from fans.

The video, shared on TikTok by @xjeonvsii, features the 27-year-old singer weeping during her rendition of "Tally" at the celebrated U.K. music festival. "Tally" is a track from the foursome's "Born Pink" album, which emboldens listeners to embrace individuality and disregard critics.

The exact reason for Jennie's tears remained unclear. However, BLACKPINK followers, affectionately known as Blinks, couldn't overlook the heightened glimmer in the singer's eyes as she delivered the lines, "Sometimes, I like to go play dirty/ Just like all of the f-k boys do. That's my choice and there's no one I'm hurting/ When that's not girly."

The video, viewed over 8 million times and liked by 1.3 million users as of the reporting time, saw fans swarming the comments section with messages of reassurance and support for Jennie.

One user expressed, "She is the strongest woman I know, and if I had the chance, I will hug her."

Another user hoped, "I wish she knew that even [though] there's a lot of hateful people, there are also people [who] appreciate her efforts."

A third admirer chimed in, "She deserves all the love, not hate."

The video was additionally shared on Twitter by @uchihaseulgi, prompting some fans to decry the online animosity directed towards Jennie.

A Twitter user warned, "One of the sweetest idols period and she's treated so poorly by some. Oh, [you all] will get your karma."

Another added, "Seeing the [quote retweets] about supporting her from other fandoms makes me emotional. Unfortunately, K-pop stans have [normalized abusing] Jennie since her debut... Not only [abusing], but they [also] judge her by edited, cropped or blurred videos and say really disgusting things. She doesn't deserve this."

The group, comprised of Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé, debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment and quickly ascended to become one of the most prominent female K-pop groups globally.

Despite their success, the group, particularly Jennie, has endured negative online criticism. The "Solo" singer encountered backlash over her role in HBO's divisive show "The Idol," with her portrayal of Dyanne sparking controversy within the K-pop community. Rumors about her personal life, including her relationship with BTS's V, and critique over her clothing choices have also been subjects of controversy.

Currently, BLACKPINK is taking a short break to recharge before embarking on the encore portion of their "Born Pink" world tour.
