SM Entertainment Apologizes Amid Taeyeon Fandom Protests, Vows to "Listen to Fans' Voices
SM Entertainment has stated its position regarding the protests by fans related to Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
On the 5th, the agency SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as 'SM') posted on its official account, "We have confirmed various opinions from fans related to Taeyeon recently."
SM stated, "We will strive harder to listen to the various voices of the fans about the ongoing concerts and future activities, and to reflect the opinions sent to us."
They continued, "We deeply thank you once again for your loving reprimands and support. We promise to carefully support Taeyeon's music and various activities that will unfold in the future. We will do our best for the growth and development of our affiliated artists, and we pledge to repay the interest and support you send us."
Previously, the union of Taeyeon's fans announced a 'Statement Urging the Normalization of Artist Taeyeon Concert Promotion' related to the 'The ODD of Love' tour that Taeyeon is currently conducting and held a truck protest in front of the SM Entertainment building from the 22nd of last month. Fans requested proper concert promotion, venue rentals that match the demand, provision of self-content, and regular sharing of progress on suing malicious commenters.
