Actor Choi Woong Denies Dating Rumors with Lim Na-young: 'Just Close Through the Same Project'
Actor Choi Woong has denied rumors of a romantic relationship with Lim Na-young, a former member of girl groups IOI and Pristin.
On the 29th, a certain media outlet reported that Choi Woong and Lim Na-young had formed a bond and continued dating, including couple trips, after being cast side by side in the play 'Hello, the Hell: Othello.'
In response, Choi Woong's agency, The Creative Entertainment, told Xsportsnews, "The rumors about Choi Woong and Lim Na-young dating are not true. They have become close by appearing in the same production."
An official from Lim Na-young's side also told Xsportsnews on the same day, "The dating rumors are groundless," explaining, "As far as I know, Lim Na-young does not currently have a boyfriend. The entire theater troupe, which includes both of them, went on a trip to Australia, which seems to have led to the misunderstanding."
According to the agency, the theater troupe including the two is actively working, planning to go to a performance in the UK in August.
Lim Na-young, who debuted as a member of the group IOI after appearing on Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016, and then re-debuted as Pristin, has been working as an actress since the girl group disbanded in 2019. Choi Woong, who debuted through a commercial in 2011, has been active, appearing in 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Goblin', 'Money Game', etc.
The two, who have a nine-year age difference, both quickly denied the dating rumors, creating a buzz.
