Taeyeon Takes Legal Action Against Online Trolls: Two Suspects Referred to Prosecutors
Taeyeon, a member of the girl group Girls' Generation, is currently taking legal action against online trolls.
On the 22nd, SM Entertainment unveiled the progress of the legal action against those who have targeted Taeyeon through the 'Kwangya 119' platform.
SM stated, "Six individuals have been identified by the police. Investigations are ongoing for four of them, while two have been referred to the prosecutors with recommendations for indictment. We are also waiting for updates on numerous other complaints currently under investigation."
They further added, "SM will continue to actively monitor and take legal actions to protect our artists, including Taeyeon, against various illegal activities."
Meanwhile, 'Kwangya 119' is a newly established reporting center dedicated to protecting the rights of SM artists.

Hello, This is the 'KWANGYA 119' Center.
SM Entertainment has been continuously filing complaints regarding malicious comments, slanderous and defamatory posts about our artists that are randomly posted and spread on various online communities, SNS, and portal sites. We would like to inform you about the progress of the complaints filed in relation to our artist, Taeyeon.
Currently, six individuals have been identified by the police in relation to the complaints. Investigations are ongoing for four of them, while two have been referred to the prosecutors with recommendations for indictment. We are also waiting for updates on numerous other complaints currently under investigation.
We will keep you updated on the final results of the cases recommended for indictment and any further investigations that are underway.
SM will continue to actively monitor and take legal actions to protect our artists, including Taeyeon, against various illegal activities.
