BTS's J-Hope Appointed as Assistant Instructor for New Recruits in the 36th Division
J-Hope of global sensation BTS (comprised of members RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jungkook) is set to serve as an assistant instructor for new recruits, following in the footsteps of bandmate Jin.
According to army officials on the 31st, J-Hope has recently been selected as an assistant instructor for the 36th Division's new recruit training unit. "After passing a certain period of training qualification evaluation, J-Hope will serve as an assistant instructor," a representative shared with Star News.
J-Hope completed his basic military training course as a trainee of the 23rd-5th term in the 36th Infantry Division's new recruit training unit in Wonju, Gangwon Province, on April 24th. He is expected to serve as an assistant instructor at the 36th Division's new recruit training unit before being discharged on October 17, 2024.
Previously, J-Hope personally announced his completion of the new recruit training after enlisting via Weverse on the 24th, saying, "ARMYs! I've completed it successfully. Your letters and cheers were a great help and allowed me to train hard!" He also added, "I will live diligently throughout the rest of my military service to show you a good side of me. I love you.♥ Using a cellphone feels novel. Hahaha."
