Kim Hee Sun will be taking the role of an intelligent scientist in the upcoming drama “Alice,” and marks the portrayal as her comeback on the small screen.

Joo Won will take the lead in the emotional science-fiction drama as a detective who discovers time travel and winds up crossing paths with a woman who resembles his dead mother (Kim See Hun), wrote Soompi.

SBS’ has unveiled a photo teaser about the new drama on August 3 featuring the character of Kim Hee Sun as Yoon Tae Yi, a physics professor at Hankook University, who finished calculus at the age of six and entered the department of physics at the age of 15. The character resembles a bold scientist with overflowing passion, outspoken personality, and great pride. Her role will surely make the viewers be amazed by the character in “Alice.”

In the photo teaser, Yoon Tae Ri is focused on her study in the laboratory. Her professional appearance is evident as she wears her white laboratory gown as she directs her eyes on the screen as an expression of concentration. The room she occupies contains technologies that are new to the eyes while the backdrop board is filled with scientific formulas of ongoing studies.

The team behind the works of the upcoming drama “Alice” said that Yoon Tae Yi radiates a confident and bold female scientist. The actress Kim Hee Sun did all her best to give justice to the role by making efforts on her appearance and leveling up to her acting.

Kim See hun, according to the production staff, wholly immersed in the character during their first shooting. She entirely transformed into a confident female artist. “Please look forward to Kim Hee Sun’s portrayal in “Alice” as she delves into a role viewers will surely be falling in love with.”

“Alice” is scheduled to hit the small screens on August 28, at 10:00 PM, KST.
