'Sharp-eyed' Kim Min-hee Set to Perform at '2023 Dream Concert Trot'
'Sharp-eyed' Kim Min-hee is slated to light up the stage at the '2023 Dream Concert Trot.'
Her agency, Gou E&M, announced on May 11, "Kim Min-hee will be participating in the 'Dream Concert Trot' at Busan Asiad Auxiliary Stadium on the 28th. Having officially started her singing activities in November last year, she is currently devoting a lot of time to practice for her first large-scale stage performance."
The agency added, "On April 23rd, she completed the recording with other singers like Song Ga-in, Ali, FIFTY FIFTY, Jin Sung, Kim Jong-seo, and Kim Jang-hoon at the '2023 Gochang Visit Year Special KBS Open Concert' held in Gochang-eup Castle Grass Plaza. She will be presenting a fantastic stage to trot fans and viewers through both the Dream Concert and Open Concert broadcasts on the same day."
The '2023 Dream Concert Trot' features a colorful trot stage lineup, including renowned trot singers such as Kim Min-hee, Kim Ho-joong, Jin Sung, Kim Yong-im, Song Ga-in, Young Tak, Choi Baek-ho, and Jung Dong-won. The concert was planned to celebrate and wish for the successful hosting of the 2030 Busan World Expo. SBS Medianet and the Korea Entertainment Producer's Association are hosting the event, with SBS FiL, SBS M, and Star Planet managing it, and the city of Busan sponsoring it. The concert will be broadcasted later on SBS FiL and SBS M.
Meanwhile, Kim Min-hee released her mini-album 'Like, Like' on November 22nd of last year and is actively engaged in her singing career with the title track 'Like, Like' and the included song 'Aya Aya.' She debuted as an MBC talent in 1978 and gained immense popularity playing the role of 'Sharp-eyed' in the daily drama 'Moon Village' aired on KBS from 1980 to 1981. Currently, she is involved in various activities as a singer, including radio, TV broadcasts, and interviews.
