ENHYPEN's Comeback: 'DARK BLOOD' Filled with Unrivaled Visuals, Fantasy, and Action
K-pop group ENHYPEN has unveiled a new album concept trailer that rivals a movie, raising fans' expectations to new heights.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) released the concept trailer for their fourth mini-album "DARK BLOOD" on their official SNS at midnight today (May 1, KST). The concept trailer interprets the story of "DARK BLOOD" through ENHYPEN's unique fantasy style.
The concept trailer begins with a scene of a girl trapped in a car, calling for help. Jungwon, riding a motorcycle, then confronts Sunghoon, who is galloping on a horse. After a fierce duel, Sunghoon defeats Jungwon with a final sword strike and is eventually overpowered by the other members. The tension escalates as the girl bites Jay's neck.
Sunghoon whispers "Bite me!" and offers his neck to the girl in the final scene, followed by a poetic narration that leaves a profound impression.
Directed by Yoo Gwang-geun, known as one of South Korea's leading commercial directors for his unique cinematic tone and high sensitivity, the concept trailer boasts a sensuous visual beauty, blending the fantastical narrative of "DARK BLOOD" with ENHYPEN's trendy charm. Additionally, exciting scenes featuring a chase between a running horse and a motorcycle, as well as intense action sequences performed by the members themselves, heighten the immersion.
ENHYPEN has previously showcased unique concepts and solid storytelling by incorporating their own narratives into their albums. With the release of a concept trailer reminiscent of a fantasy movie, curiosity grows about the story they will tell through "DARK BLOOD."
