IVE's Ahn Yu-jin Recalls Dreaming of Stardom at Awards Show Where They Later Won Big ('Knowing Bros')
Ahn Yu-jin shares her thoughts on receiving an award at the Melon Music Awards.
IVE, who recently returned with their first full album "I've IVE," will appear on the April 15th episode of JTBC's "Knowing Bros." On the show, the members of IVE are set to showcase their distinct charms and demonstrate their rising popularity as talented idols.
In 2022, IVE broke their own records with each song they released, winning both the Rookie Award and the Grand Prize at the Melon Music Awards for the first time in 11 years. The group once again shared their meaningful acceptance speeches. In particular, IVE's leader Ahn Yu-jin said, "I nurtured my dream of becoming a singer while watching the Melon Music Awards stage from the audience six years ago, and last year, I received the Grand Prize at that very place," drawing attention to her touching story.
Meanwhile, IVE's upgraded sense of humor since their last appearance on the show continues with the members engaging in a no-holds-barred disclosure battle. Among the stories shared, Rei revealed that Ahn Yu-jin sometimes ignores the funny images she sends if she doesn't find them amusing, leaving Yu-jin embarrassed.
Additionally, Gaeul, the main character of the "After LIKE" killing part, "Do you know what my strength is? It's being honest," shared an episode of how she was shocked by her mother's honest comment, eliciting laughter from everyone.
IVE's variety skills, which have once again heralded a new syndrome in the music world with their pre-release track "Kitsch" and title track "I AM," can be seen on JTBC's "Knowing Bros" on April 15th at 8:50 PM (KST).
