Korean rapper LOCO surprised fans with the news of his upcoming wedding. He broke the news with an announcement on his personal Instagram, informing fans that he will be getting married to his girlfriend of two years.

In the statement, the rapper shared that he met a friend of the same age, right after he got discharged from his compulsory military duties. Furthermore, the friend grew up together in the same neighborhood since the time they were children.

According to LOCO, for no reason, in particular, he was excited to spend time with that person, and soon the relationship developed into more than just being friends.

The Korean artist mentioned that for the past two years both he and his girlfriend have consistently respected each other's careers and spent happy and precious moments together. Therefore, the two naturally promised to spend the rest of their lives with each other.

LOCO shared that his partner understands him more than anyone else and is a friend to the honest him, who is actually not that confident a person and can be nervous offstage.

The rapper mentioned that due to his girlfriend he can feel the happiness of his daily life without being anxious and be unafraid of taking a decision for himself. LOCO also disclosed that she is also the girl termed as "soy latte", which he mentions in quite a few of his lyrics, and that fans may know of this.

He also said that though both are still a bit wary about COVID-19, the pair have decided to host a quiet ceremony with family and close friends this fall. LOCO also thanked all his fans for supporting him when he shared his news with everyone.

LOCO closed the statement by adding that it has already been a decade since he made his debut and that thanks to his fans, he is always thankful and continues promotions with an overwhelmed heart.

The singer signed off saying the work he plans to do this year is on schedule and as usual he will continue to see fans through performances and albums.

LOCO found fame with his debut in 2012 when he won "Show Me The Money 1", the hit competition program on Mnet. His real name is Kwon Hyuk-woo and he is signed to hip hop label AOMG. His stage name is taken after the Spanish word for crazy, "loco".
