Exid's Hani Confirmed To Be In A Relationship With Psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong
K-pop idol Hani, who is a member of Hani, is in a steady relationship with Yang Jae Woong, who is a psychiatrist by profession.
Hani, who had debuted as a K-pop singer and later went on to become an actress as well, was reportedly advised by her agency to treat her meaningful relationship with her partner with care.
According to a media report, the couple has been dating for two years. The news has now been confirmed by Hani's management company Sublime Artist Agency, who said that the celebrity has been in a relationship with Yang Jae Woong for two years.
The agency released an official statement that confirmed what was reported by the media and also added that the couple is in a happy relationship. However, they did not disclose when the two actually started dating.
Sublime Artist Agency mentioned they would be grateful if everyone would view the relationship between the two warmly.
30-year-old Hani, who made her debut with K-pop group EXID in 2011, has recently been busy with her roles in various dramas, web series, television shows and series, independent films, and projects such as "Young Adult Matters", "Idol: The Coup", "XX", "How to Be Thirty" etc.
Previously, it has been also reported that the South Koean star will be one of the hosts for "Merry Queer", an upcoming queer dating reality program.
Before debuting with EXID, Hani was originally set to make her debut as a member of a girl group with JYP Entertainment, along with Bestie's Uji, Secret's Song Ji-eun, and Sistar's Hyolyn. However, after a year, she was cut from JYP as they did not see potential in her. After this, she went to China for a year to study.
In November 2014, a video filmed of Hani by a fan while she and other band members were performing EXID's song "Up & Down" went viral and due to its success the band was invited back to various music programs for promoting the song, though it had originally been released many months before. The popularity of the song also helped the group bag the first place on a music show for the first time since its debut.
40-year-old Yang Jae Woong made appearances on several types of programs including the "Real Couple Story - The War of Roses", and the "Heart Signal" series. He also has a YouTube channel with Yang Jae Jin, his older brother, titled "Yang Bros' Mental World".
