Recently, during a segment on "Circle House", SBS's new variety/talk program, South Korean actress Han Ga-In gave opened up about some matters related to her personal life.

It all started when she was asked for her thoughts on if her daughter did not want to date after growing up. The actress replied that whatever her daughter would choose, she would be all for it, whether grew up to be anti-dating or anti-marriage.

Han Ga-In then proceeded to talk about her own experiences of having to struggle with rumors of being infertile after getting married at 24. She had met her partner at 22 years of age and married him within 2 years.

At that point she felt very young and didn't think she was yet grown up, so did not have the desire or the confidence to have children and raise them. Therefore, she and her husband decided to wait for the time, which felt right for them, to have kids, and finally, they had their first child 11 years after their wedding.

Han Ga-In, who has a daughter and a son, said that after marriage whenever she would step out in public, she would face questions about not having kids, which led to rumors such as her marriage was failing, or that she was infertile. Such baseless rumors and speculations had given her a lot of stress.

The actress added, that just because she had married did not mean that pregnancy was the next step in her life and that she did not even try to have kids at that point. Han Ga-In had her first child, a daughter, at the age of 35 in 2016 and a son in 2019.

During the segment, the actress also spoke about not having a good childhood while growing up and that she had no feelings for her father, though she does not hate him.

After marriage, she found joy at her husband's house because his family was warm and they enjoyed little things like dining together and interacting with each other. It was also one of the reasons she married young because that was the kind of family and love that she wanted.

She also described her husband as the kind of father that she had always envisioned for her children. The actress disclosed that seeing her husband in a father's role has helped heal her.
