Super Junior's Eunhyuk has joined season 2 of Mr. House Husband and through the show, he revealed his home to the public for the first time. The 35-year-old singer also shared the real reason he decided to buy the expensive home and start living with his family again.

Super Junior's Eunhyuk appeared in the latest episode to Mr. House Husband and during the interview, he disclosed an unfortunate story of why he bought a single-detached home with a yard. The singer confessed that he spent a fortune on the new property to be with his family after learning that his mother is really ill.

"I thought I should live with my family so I emptied my bank account and 'flexed' on real estate," Hype quoted Eunhyuk as saying during the interview segment of Mr. House Husband. "To be honest, the reason I decided to live with my family is that my mother's health has worsened."

Eunhyuk explained that the doctor did not tell them how much time his mother had left to live, but they were told to always be prepared. This suggests that his mother is really sick at this point.

As per Allkpop, it was in 2017 when Super Junior Eunhyuk's mother was tested and diagnosed with interstitial pneumonia. This disease made breathing very difficult for her mother as she is only able to use 37% of her lungs.

The second generation Kpop idol explained the doctors suggested a lung transplant for her condition to improve. However, even if she undergoes the operation and obtains new lungs, she can only live up to seven years at most.

With her mother's declining health, it is no wonder why Eunhyuk wants to spend more time with her now. He left home to become a trainee at SM Entertainment when he was just a teenager, so it has been more than 20 years since he was separated from his family. He thinks it is time to return home, and his mother is especially happy that she could always be next to her son now.
