BTS V Writes Another Staggering Record In Soundcloud After Amassing Remarkable Streaming
BTS V is now dubbed as one of the most acclaimed Korean soloists on every platform, as his solo music has taken him to incredible heights. The BTS idol bagged yet another "First and only Korean soloist to" record on SoundCloud and became one of the most popular members of the septet.
V's Success On Soundcloud
V's ever-growing reign once again headlined across the globe with his released solo music as gifts for his fans on SoundCloud. V was named recently as the most-streamed Korean soloist on the platform for the second consecutive year.
As reported by several media outlets, V contributed 31% to the group's total streams after amassing roughly half a billion streams. V also became the first Korean soloist on the Global chart to score three No.1 hits and ranked two solo songs in the prestigious 100 million streams club.
Furthermore, V has become the first and only Korean soloist to surpass over 75 million streams on three of his solo songs on Soundcloud. This adds up to the ever-growing list of records.
V's Undeniable Popularity
Moreover, V's self-composed track "4 o'clock" featuring RM earlier this week garnered 75 million streams. This now joins the idol's 2019 releases Scenery and Winter Bear with 191 million and 131 million streams, respectively.
The beautiful ballad was released as a part of their fourth-anniversary in 2017. Like every solo track by the star, it has also become a popular BGM on Korean variety shows and often receives positive acclaims from the general public.
V is often praised for his unapologetic honesty, authenticity, and attention-to-detail as a composer and producer. As highlighted, the idol's lyricism is generally refreshing and one that evokes deep emotions.
Meanwhile, the first solo mixtape of V, which he wished to debut sometime this year, has been noted by several media, critics, and fans as one of the most-anticipated releases of 2021.
