BTS And BLACKPINK Are Top Notchers On Gaon's Social Chart This Week
Dating December 20 to December 26, Gaon Chart has revealed its chart rankings for the week!
The Gaon Chart is South Korea's national chart of South Korea, and it is intended to be the equivalent of Oricon in Japan and Billboard in the United States.
Social Chart
On Gaon's Social Chart 2.0 this week, BTS rose to No. 1, tailed by BLACKPINK at No. 2. At No. 3 is Kim Ho Joong, IZ*ONE at No. 4, and at No. 5 is TWICE.
Overall Digital Chart + Streaming Chart
This week, the overall digital chart and the streaming chart top 5 songs were the same. Topping the chart is the collaboration song VVS of Show Me the Money 9 rappers Mirani, Munchman, Khundi Panda, and MUSHVENOM featuring JUSTHIS and produced by GroovyRoom. This is the fifth consecutive week reign of the song.
Rising to No. 2 is Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You on both charts. At No. 3 is KyoungSeo's Shiny Star (2020), BTS's Dynamite at No. 4, while at No. 5 is Ariana Grande's Santa Tell Me.
Album Chart
NCT with RESONANCE Pt. 2 swept the top two spots on this week's physical album chart. With the regular version of the album claiming the No. 1 spot, the Kit version also charted separately at No. 2.
Taking the No. 3 spot in the chart this week is LA POEM's SCENE #1, followed by EXO's Kai's KAI at No. 4, and at No. 5 is ENHYPEN's BORDER: DAY ONE.

Moreover, claiming the top two spots on this week's digital download chart is Mister Trot winner Im Young Woong with Trust in Me at No. 1 and HERO at No. 2.
Meanwhile, entering the chart at No. 3 this week is EXO's Baekhyun's Amusement Park. Debuting at No. 4 is Naul's For Each Other's while rounding out the top five for the week is Mariah Carey's Christmas classic All I Want For Christmas Is You.
