E'LAST sets viewers' wondering minds to rest towards this matter: How do idols spot the close-up cameras on stage while performing? Well, the answer is here:
E'LAST says spot the red lights
South Korean all-boy group E'LAST, formed and managed by E Entertainment, made things clear regarding the cameras rolling while idols are on stage.
As per Korea Boo, the rookie boy group graced a guesting at the Youtube channel AYO. In the video, E'LAST opened up on the realities and expectations of the idols' life, on-off the camera. The band revealed how idols find their gaze towards the camera and how they know if they are being focused.
During performances by idols on music shows, multiple cameras will be rolling to showcase their stage. The cameras will be capturing group and close-up shots while the idols perform, where E'LAST shone some clear light into it.
Camera operators and broadcasters decided to put a red light on cameras to know that the machine is rolling in-live. However, it is still a confusing topic of whether idols take their perfect timing to gaze towards the ideal camera.
E'LAST shares how to spot the red lights
"How do they find red lights on a camera?" the commentator from AYO asked. Instantly, rapper and vocalist Choi In explained the case.
He said that music show networks shoot broadcast demos of their songs, showing how the production likes the angles and focus shots. Once everything was mandated and ruled, it will give the idols time to rehearse the performance and work on their timing towards finding the perfect camera to gaze at.
Choi In further added that the idols' performances on music shows mostly take in just one take, but rehearsals are taken multiple times before the final showcase. One vital segment for idols to practice is the camera rehearsals.
